Not at all. Many people start with “I just don’t feel like myself.” Working that out together is part of what therapy is for.
It depends on what you’re working on. Some people come for a handful of sessions around a specific problem; others stay longer. We check in regularly about how it’s going and whether to keep going.
Yes, with a few legal exceptions, such as a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, which we’ll explain at the first session. Your records are kept in a secure, HIPAA-compliant system.
Yes. Online sessions are by secure video, and work as well as in-person sessions for most people. You need to be in [STATE] at the time of the session.
