Individual therapy for adults

Therapy for anxiety, low mood, burnout and change

A steady hour each week to untangle what’s going on, notice your patterns, and try different ways through. We work with adults of all ages, at whatever pace feels right.

Anxiety and worry

Anxiety can look like constant planning, trouble sleeping, snapping at people you love, or avoiding things that used to be easy. We’ll work on understanding what sets it off and building practical ways to settle your body and your thoughts, drawing on approaches like CBT and ACT.

Low mood and depression

When motivation, sleep and enjoyment have all slipped, even small tasks can feel enormous. Therapy offers somewhere to be honest about how heavy it feels, and to rebuild routine, connection and a little momentum, one step at a time.

Burnout and stress

For people who’ve been holding everything together for too long, at work, as a parent, or caring for someone. We look at what’s draining you, where your limits are, and how to protect them without guilt.

Life changes

Moves, breakups, new jobs, retirement, becoming a parent, a health diagnosis. Even changes you chose can knock you off balance. We help you make sense of what’s shifting and find your footing again.

Grief and loss

Grief doesn’t follow stages or timelines. Whether the loss is recent or years old, we make room for all of it, including the parts that are hard to say out loud.

Questions

Individual therapy: your questions

What happens in the first session?

We’ll talk about what brings you in, a bit of your background, and what you’d like to be different. It’s also a chance to see how it feels to talk with us. You don’t have to share anything you’re not ready to.

How often will we meet?

Usually weekly to begin with, sometimes every other week once things feel steadier. Sessions are [SESSION LENGTH].

What approach do you use?

We draw on evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT and mindfulness, shaped around you rather than a script. We’ll always explain what we’re doing and why.

Reaching out is the hardest part.

A free 15-minute call is a low-stakes way to start. Ask your questions, hear how we work, and decide in your own time.
